Get ready for an exciting showdown at Gold Beach in the Rogue River Harbor! The Battle of the Bay Derby is set to take place out of Jots Marina, from August 14th to 16th, 2025, bringing anglers together for two days of thrilling competition in pursuit of Pacific Chinook Salmon.
This annual event challenges both seasoned fishermen and newcomers to test their skills in one of the Pacific Northwest’s premier salmon fishing destinations. With Rogue River Harbor teeming with big, hard-fighting Chromers, participants will have the chance to land trophy-sized fish while competing for bragging rights, a place on the leaderboard and maybe even the Champions Belt!
Whether you’re a local angler or traveling in for the action, the Battle of the Bay Derby is more than just a fishing competition—it’s a celebration of the sport, group comradery, and the incredible salmon runs that make Gold Beach a top fishing destination.
